What Data Is Shown
When you activate Trade Area Analysis, PropIntel displays:
- Population — Total population within the selected radius
- Median household income — Key indicator for rental demand and property values
- Employment statistics — Employment rate, major employer sectors
- Commercial density — Number of businesses, retail presence
- Housing stats — Owner-occupied vs renter-occupied ratio, median home value
- Growth indicators — Population change over time, new construction permits
How to Access
- Click on any point on the map.
- Select Trade Area from the context menu or actions panel.
- Choose your radius (0.5 mi, 1 mi, 3 mi, 5 mi).
- The analysis panel displays demographic data for that radius.

Trade area data is aggregated from U.S. Census Bureau ACS (American Community Survey) data, supplemented with commercial data sources. Data is updated annually when new ACS releases are available.
