Understanding Your Dashboard

The PropIntel dashboard is divided into four main areas that work together. Everything updates in sync — apply a filter and the map, DataGrid, and counts all reflect the change immediately.

1. TopBar

The horizontal bar at the top (48px tall) contains:

• Search input — Type property addresses, parcel IDs, or natural language queries like "tax delinquent homes over 2000 sqft"
• View toggle — Switch between Map view, Grid view, or Split view (both)
• Voice search — Tap the microphone icon to speak your search query (mobile-friendly)
• Notification bell — Shows new alert matches from your saved searches
• User menu — Access settings, billing, and sign out

2. Sidebar (Left Panel)

The sidebar (320px wide) houses all your filters:

• County selector at the top
• Property type checkboxes (Single Family, Multi-Family, Commercial, Vacant Land, Mobile Home)
• Value ranges — Assessed value, market value sliders
• Size filters — Square footage, lot size, bedrooms, bathrooms
• Ownership — Absentee owner, out-of-state owner, ownership duration
• Distress Signals — Tax delinquent, lis pendens, code violations, probate
• Apply / Reset buttons at the bottom

3. Map (Center)

The Mapbox GL map shows parcel boundaries color-coded by your active settings. Key interactions:

• Click a parcel to open its Detail Panel
• Use the layer control (top-right) to toggle heatmaps, zoning, flood zones
• Zoom with scroll wheel or pinch gesture
• Score overlay colors parcels by AI score after a scoring run (green = high, red = low)

4. DataGrid (Bottom)

The virtualized data table shows all matching properties. Features:

• Column sorting — Click any header to sort
• Row selection — Checkbox for bulk actions (export, add to list, score)
• Resize handle — Drag the border between map and grid to adjust the split
• Performance — Handles 10,000+ rows with smooth scrolling

5. Detail Panel (Right)

When you click a property, the Detail Panel slides open with four tabs:

• Overview — Key property facts at a glance
• Details — Full legal, zoning, flood, ownership, and sale information
• History — Distress signal timeline (tax delinquency, lis pendens, code violations, probate)
• AI — Run scoring, view scores, launch Deep Research
