Navigating the Dashboard

The PropIntel dashboard is your command center. Every element is designed to work together — filters drive the map and DataGrid simultaneously, clicking a property opens the Detail Panel, and scoring overlays update the map in real time.

TopBar

The horizontal bar across the top of the screen (48px tall) contains:

• Search input — Supports property addresses, parcel IDs, owner names, and natural language queries. The AI detects NL queries automatically and translates them to filters.
• View toggle — Switch between Map Only, Grid Only, or Split (both visible). Split is the default.
• Voice search button — Microphone icon for spoken queries (particularly useful on mobile).
• Notification bell — Shows new matches from your saved search alerts.
• User menu — Avatar icon opening settings, billing, and sign out options.

Sidebar (Left Panel, 320px)

The left panel houses all filtering controls, organized into collapsible sections:

• County selector — Choose your target county
• Property type — Single Family, Multi-Family, Commercial, Vacant Land, Mobile Home
• Value ranges — Min/max sliders for assessed and market value
• Size filters — Square footage, lot size, bedroom count, bathroom count
• Year built — Min/max range
• Ownership filters — Absentee owner, out-of-state owner, ownership duration ranges
• Distress signals — Tax delinquent, lis pendens, code violations, probate checkboxes
• AI Scoring section — Profile selector and score run controls
• Apply / Reset buttons — Apply commits your filter changes; Reset clears all filters

Map (Center)

The Mapbox GL map renders parcel boundaries as interactive polygons:

• Click a parcel to open its Detail Panel
• Hover to see a popup with address and key facts
• Layer control (top-right) toggles heatmaps, zoning, flood zones, score overlay
• Zoom with scroll wheel, pinch, or +/- controls

DataGrid (Bottom)

A high-performance virtualized table showing all matching properties:

• Click any column header to sort (ascending/descending)
• Checkbox column for bulk selection and actions
• Drag the resize handle between map and grid to adjust the vertical split
• Handles 10,000+ rows with smooth scrolling

Detail Panel (Right, 420px)

Opens when you click any property. Four tabs:

• Overview — Address, owner, assessed value, lot size, year built, property type
• Details — Legal description, zoning, flood zone, ownership, last sale
• History — Distress signal timeline
• AI — Scoring results, Deep Research launcher
