Owner Portfolio View — Finding Multi-Property Owners
Click any property owner's name to see all properties they own across the platform. The owner portfolio view reveals multi-property owners who may be motivated to sell. Pro+
What the Portfolio View Shows
- Total property count — How many properties this owner (or entity) holds
- Total assessed value — Combined value of all properties
- Properties by county — Geographic distribution of their portfolio
- Distress signals across portfolio — Are any of their other properties tax-delinquent or facing lis pendens?
- Map view — All properties plotted on the map showing geographic spread
How Entity Matching Works
Owners are matched using fuzzy name matching and address clustering. PropIntel identifies when "SMITH JOHN A" and "JOHN A SMITH" and "SMITH, JOHN" are the same owner. Entity matching also links LLC-owned properties when the registered agent or mailing address matches.
Use Cases
- Finding landlords ready to exit — An owner with 15 rental properties and tax delinquency on 3 of them may be interested in selling their entire portfolio.
- Identifying distressed entities — An LLC with code violations on multiple properties signals a neglectful owner.
- Skip tracing targets — The mailing address from the portfolio view gives you the owner's actual contact address (not the property address).
- Wholesale deals — Multi-property owners who respond to one offer may sell you additional properties from their portfolio.
Accessing the Portfolio View
- Open the Detail Panel for any property.
- In the Overview tab, click the owner name link.
- The portfolio view opens showing all properties associated with that owner.
